Patients' own cells and materials used to create personalized tissue implants of any kind

(American Friends of Tel Aviv University) In a new study, Tel Aviv University researchers reveal how they invented the first fully personalized tissue implant, engineered from a patient's own materials and cells. As a result, the risk of an immune response to an organ implant virtually disappears, the researchers say.
